The Conversation

To celebrate the return of Spring and to talk about protecting and providing for our collective future, we’ll be using this dinner to plant seeds – literally! Each guest will receive a small pot, soil and options of seeds, so yes, you may get your hands a little dirty (but after dinner is served :)

This month’s Vegan & Gluten Free menu comes from Hannah Che’s The Vegan Chinese Kitchen - a perfect reason to upgrade The Loft’s rice cooker and wok!

  • Stir-Fried Lotus Root with Celery & Wood Ear

  • Fish-Fragrant Eggplant

  • Blistered Dry-Fried String Beans

  • Slow Cooked Mapo Tofu

  • Braised Tofu Skins in Light Chili Bean Sauce

  • Kung Pao Mushrooms

  • Stir-Fried Gai Lan with Vegetarian Oyster Sauce

  • Steamed Rice

  • Hibiscus Tea

The Loft

Located in Bushwick, just 2 blocks from the Morgan Ave L Train.

• A small black cat named Jiji lives here.
• The Loft has 2 HEPA filters running at all times
• The windows will be open for ventilation.
• The building unfortunately does not have an elevator, and the Loft is on the 4th floor.
• Roof access one floor up from our Loft.
