The Conversation
It’s time to get ready for the Primaries.
Early voting begins June 13 and will be here before we know it.
Let’s take some time to look at the candidates running in the June primaries across the city – and very importantly – for Congressional District 7 (as Nydia Valasquez will retire this year.) Please come with your strong opinions and we’ll be crowdsourcing additional info on each candidate.
We’ll look through candidate websites and voting histories on the main screen over dinner
We will talk through praise and concerns for all local candidates.
At the end, we’ll talk about how we can get more involved with special guests.
This year’s Primary will include local races for:
NY Governor, Lt Governor, NY Attorney General, State Comptroller
U.S. Congressional Districts 1-26
All NY State Senators (though many will be unchallenged incumbents)

The Loft
Located in Bushwick, just 2 blocks from the Morgan Ave L Train.
• A small black cat named Jiji lives here.
• The Loft has 2 HEPA filters running at all times
• The windows will be open for ventilation.
• The building unfortunately does not have an elevator, and the Loft is on the 4th floor.
• Roof access one floor up from our Loft.
• Not feeling well the night of? Please take a Covid test or join us on Zoom or we'll see you for the next salon! Please reach out if we can help subsidize the cost of testing.
